  • My favorite thing about coaching is knowing that everyday I have an opportunity to be a positive influence in young men’s lives and that these same young men will  have a positive influence in my life-always, coaching by the motto that” I am more interested in building championship men than championship teams”.

  • Having been in other programs, I am constantly reminded how hard our players work. Our kids do everything we ask, and that means we have a chance every year to be successful. Todd is the best head coach I have ever worked for and has assembled a premier staff that I feel very thankful to be a part of.

 AJ - Head Trainer

Coaching Experience

Medical Experience:

  • I received my undergraduate degree from BSU in 2004.  During my education there, over a three year period, I worked with football, track, soccer, and basketball. I attended University of Oregon from 2004-2006 getting a masters in Athletic Training.  My first year there I worked with football and track.  My second and final year with the Ducks I worked with wrestling and football.
  • I began at Capital as the Head Athletic Trainer in 2006. I have finished 4 wonderful years with Capital Athletics and am looking forward to starting the 6th year.
Current Responsibilities
  • I am the Head Athletic Trainer at Capital High School as well as the director of the sports medicine academic program.
  •  My family(parents, sister and her family) resides in Parma, Idaho.  I have a dog, Porter, who is a 95 lb. chocolate lab.  He loves to visit the training room and athletic fields at Capital. Of course, my cohorts at Capital I consider family as well!
My favorite thing about coaching at Capital
  •  I am blessed with an amazing staff at Capital High School.  It’s extremely rare that the medical staff and coaching staff get along and work hand in hand together to accomplish success for the student-athletes in a safe manner.  I can truly say that myself, coaching staff, and administration here at Capital is one in a million in that respect!  Go Eagles!!!
